The Grotte du Mas-d’Azil is an exceptional natural monument: imposing limestone porch, tunnel through which the Arize river flows, ancient galleries – a World Heritage Site for prehistory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the Mus\u00e9e de la Pr\u00e9histoire du Mas-d’Azil, located in the neighboring village, preserves countless relics: tools, objects of furniture art, painted pebbles, and a famous carved thruster known as the “Faon aux oiseaux”. Then, less than 2 km away, the museum awaits you: tools, weapons, art furniture, paintings, reconstructions – an essential complement to understanding the richness of Azilian civilization.
