Stroll
at Coteaux & rives d’Ariège
Nature, river and beautiful views over Pamiers.
This tour combines a riverside walk with a climb to the hills around Pamiers. You walk alongside the Ariège, then climb to the heights to discover beautiful views over the valley, the surrounding plains and, on a clear day, the Pyrenean foothills – a fine balance between water, countryside and panorama.
Good
to know
An 11 km hike with 180 m of ascent. Bring your poles.
The hike covers 11.02 km, with +180 m / -181 m of ascent. The trail is generally easy, but the ascent over a stretch of around 1 km can be a little steep. In wet weather, the ground (unbaked earth) can become slippery – poles are recommended, and care should be taken on the road sections at the end of the loop.
