The market is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to around 1:30 p.m. (some vendors start packing up a little earlier) – arrive early for the best selection. Favorites include early fruits and vegetables, artisan cheeses, crusty bread and local charcuterie. Visitors love this market for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly producers and fresh produce. From Camping Le Rupé in Toulouse, the Marché des Carmes is about 10 km to the city center. By bike, you can reach the Carmes district by following the urban cycle paths for a pleasant ride. By public transport (Tisséo network), take a bus or the metro towards the city center and get off nearby (Carmes or Esquirol stations), then walk a few minutes to the Place des Carmes. It’s the perfect complement to a morning of culinary discoveries and local produce!
