Embark on a unique journey, 60 m underground, along a river so mysterious it will take your breath away.

The Rivière souterraine de Labouïche, just a few kilometers from Foix, invites you to discover a hidden world – caves, natural galleries and underground rivers carved out by water over thousands of years. Aboard a silent boat, you glide along 1.5 km of underground waterways, where stalactites, natural basins, sculpted galleries and majestic halls are revealed. The cool, intimate atmosphere (around 13°C year-round) transports young and old into a magical, timeless world. A rare place, steeped in history and mystery, to experience with family and friends.

A boat, a guide and underground silence – for an adventure as educational as it is enchanting.

A visit to Labouïche is like an exploration: 75 minutes in a guided boat, through natural galleries and underground chambers with astonishing shapes – the “Unicorn”, the “Witch”, waterfalls, mysterious basins… The guide tells the story of the site, the geology, the first explorations, the legends, and immerses visitors in a universe mixing science and enchantment. For the youngest visitors, an educational kit on bats offers a fun approach to underground biodiversity. After the visit, a snack bar, souvenir store and picnic area are available to prolong the experience.
