Our campsite offers cottages for 4, 5 or 6 people, ideal for families with children or friends. For the adventurous, enjoy a unique experience in a converted tent or Coco Sweet, or opt for a Valentine’s bungalow, ideal for a duo getaway. For traditional camping enthusiasts, our spacious pitches can accommodate tents, caravans and motorhomes, with access to sanitary facilities and electrical hook-ups.

Whether you’re travelling by train, bike or roadtrip, our campsite is the ideal starting point for your Ariege Pyrenees escapades.
Camping du Lac is ideally located to start your adventures. Just 2 km from the train station, and 1 km from the start of the Voie Verte, you have easy access to a wide range of activities. Explore the Château de Foix, the Niaux caves and one of the last Cathar castles, Montségur, as well as the famous Bathmale lake and its formagerie. For nature lovers, hike to the Prat d’Albis or the Ars waterfall. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy cycling along the Voie Verte, or try paddle boarding and swimming at Lac de Mercus.

Here, everything is designed for your comfort and pleasure. Take a dip in our outdoor swimming pool (open from June to September) while the little ones play in the secure paddling pool. Share convivial moments around the pétanque court or the communal barbecue. In season, entertainment, concerts and themed evenings punctuate your vacation. For even greater comfort, opt for a made-up bed on arrival, rent a baby kit or request extra sheets. A bar-restaurant welcomes you from June to September, serving ready-made meals and bread and pastries upon reservation. Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, recharging point and pets allowed: everything you need for a carefree stay! For cyclists, the Voie Verte is just 1 km from the campsite. A repair kit is available on site, as well as useful information on nearby cycle routes and paths.

Our on-site restaurant is open from June to September. Enjoy fresh, gourmet dishes in a friendly atmosphere, with evening concerts depending on the campsite’s entertainment program. Our speciality: planchas, ideal for prolonging the vacation spirit!

Frequently asked questions
What type of coffeemaker is available in our rentals?
Most rentals are equipped with filter coffee makers, but some also have Senseo coffee makers.
Are sheets provided in the rentals?
Bed linen is not provided, except for the Valentin cottages. However, you can rent them for an additional charge.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrivals are from 4pm, and departures before 10am.
How are late arrivals handled?
You can arrive until 10pm, even if reception is closed. An on-call person will be on hand to help you. After 10pm, a self-check-in will be explained to you.
Is the pool heated?
No, the pool is at natural temperature.
Do you offer any entertainment at the campsite?
Yes, we organize entertainment every day in high season (July-August), except Saturday, the day of arrival.
Is the campsite close to shops?
Yes, we have a bakery and supermarket 300 meters away, as well as a fruit and vegetable store just across the street.
Is the campsite close to public transport to the city center?
Yes, there’s a shuttle bus right next to the campsite, just a 3-minute walk away.
Do you accept pets?
We accept pets (except category A) with vaccination certificates, except in the Valentin cottages.
How late can we make noise?
To respect everyone’s peace and quiet, noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 10.30pm.
